Hiring Patient Sitter

Long Term Facility

Near Sun Lakes, AZ

$20/hr

Day Shift- 12 hour shifts - 6:00 am to 6:30 pm

APN Staffing is hiring for sitters to work at a skilled nursing facility. This role is vital in maintaining patient safety.

  • Experience watching multiple monitors and reporting findings.
  • Responsible for performing visual monitoring of inpatient mental health patients, reporting findings and observations to the licensed nurse.
  • Assist the patient care team as directed to ensure patient care and unit activities are completed.
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time and demonstrate good visual acuity.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED certification.
  • At least one (1) year experience in a patient sitting, preferred.
  • CPR certification and Immunization records
  • Must have FPCC (fingerprint clearance card)

Other

  • You would work 3 days one week and 4 the next. Overtime every other week. Must work every other weekend shift. The patient has dementia, is 90 years old and is dependent on her wheelchair for mobility.
