What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant position at APOFL?
Seeking applicants presently located in the Sarasota/Bradenton, Florida area. Candidates should have prior experience with QuickBooks and MS Office. Strong organizational skills and a self-directed person to work in a small office setting. This position has an opportunity for growth and additional responsibilities once the training period has been completed. Working hours are M-F, 8:30a - 4:30p. Horticulture knowledge is a plus. Bi-lingual/multi-lingual also a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day administrative office support for a 30-year old wetland, coastal restoration and native plant farm (Fruitville office location)
- Manage internal, customer and prospect contact data
- Produce wholesale quotes, sales orders, and process in QuickBooks
- Handle general filing, administration of in-bound and out-bound mail and shipping
- Coordinate job schedule and travel arrangements
- Manage all office calendars
- Serve as liaison with office vendors and wholesale customers
- Meet and greet visitors to the office
- Answer incoming telephone calls
- Support miscellaneous admin needs of company
