Apogee Solutions, a Woman-Owned Small Business, is seeking several Graphic Illustrators to support USSOCOM at Fort Liberty, NC. Qualified candidates must be a U.S. Citizen with a TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility.

The Graphic Illustrators will engage in direct interaction with the 3rd POB(A) staff. They will provide functional analysis, design specification, functional reviews, and programming feedback on compliance with requirements associated with the requirements specified by 3rd POB(A). The Graphic Designers will be responsible for designing learner-centric, instructor-facilitated courses for Army training and designer/developers, including design associated with modeling and simulation. As a key function, they will analyze and synthesize training needs and project demands using mind mapping and development flow for audiovisual, visual animations, books, magazines and other publications, textiles, packaging, calendars, stationary web-based media, two-dimensional (2D) and three-dimensional (3D) illustrations.

The Graphic Designer Will

  • Develop story cards/wireframes to describe acceptance criteria for Use Case/Function Point modifications.
  • Keep, update, and provide input based upon standard procedures and service levels.
  • Organize work, projects, and activities; set priorities; meet critical deadlines; and provide follow-up on assignments, transmitting information and keeping informed of pertinent activities.
  • Create, execute, and measure high-quality, high-impact collateral (e.g., graphics, imagery, presentations, facilitator tools, materials, program brochures).
  • Create and modify non-interactive objects (text, graphics, video, audio).
  • Manage the compliance standardization program and develop and update content in a range of formats.
  • Provide support for the setup, ongoing operation, maintenance, usage, analysis and administration, including equipment review, setup, configuration and maintenance.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for new or existing technology products, as well as all support documentation for all platforms used in creating support content to be integrated into the production environment using Final Cut Pro and/or Adobe After Effects software applications.
  • Write and maintain technical procedures, job aids, and policy documentation.
  • Perform routine platform audits and compile performance metrics.
  • Develop and execute testing scripts to discover bugs and setup issues.
  • Develop training materials for instructor-led or computer-based learning.
  • Facilitate train-the-trainer sessions, identify performance enhancement opportunities, and use data to spearhead system-wide improvement efforts.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to including providing training and assistance with assignments and assistance requests.

Required Experience

  • US Citizen with a TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Bachelor's degree in art or graphic design
  • At least 4 years of experience in publishing or graphic design
  • Capable of providing hand-drawn sketches/illustrations
  • Experience utilizing Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Flash, After effects, and Dreamweaver
  • Demonstrated proficiency in photo editing
