Childcare Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Childcare Director. The Director will play a crucial role in supporting the overall operations and administration of our educational institution. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career growth and development.

Duties:

- Training staff to best meet the needs of students

-Insure opporations are up to code with Child Care Licensing and ELC

- Assist the owner in overseeing daily operations and ensuring compliance with educational standards and regulations

- Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop and implement educational programs and initiatives

- Provide guidance and support to students, addressing their academic needs and concerns

- Conduct classroom observations and provide feedback to teachers to enhance teaching effectiveness

- Assist in the recruitment, hiring, and training of new faculty members

- Coordinate student enrollment, registration, and scheduling processes

- Manage student records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality

- Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to student conduct and discipline

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth functioning of the institution

Requirements:

- Higher education teaching experience preferred

- Experience in education administration or related field

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with students, faculty, staff, and parents/guardians

- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

- Proficient in using educational technology tools and software

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
