Our Medical Assistants provide support for all aspects of patient care, including:
- Assisting healthcare providers.
- Maintaining electronic health records (EHR) and coordinating patient activities.
- Collecting specimens for laboratory testing, administering medications and immunizations and conducting patient intake and exit interviews.
- Using data and patient registries to outreach to patients in need of preventive care and follow-up for chronic conditions.
- Assisting with patient referrals, tracking and follow-up.
- As appropriate, triaging phone calls and following up on patient requests.
This position will also be coordinating COVID-19 and Flu vaccination efforts for this site.
We require at least one (1) year of MA experience and completion of a Medical Assistant training program.
