What You’ll Do
The Lead Procurement Specialist is a fundamental support role within the Sourcing and Procurement team. This role will be the subject matter expert for AppFolio’s Spend Management Solution. This would include training stakeholders on how to use the solution as well as reviewing and approving purchase requisitions, and creating purchase orders. The Lead Procurement Specialist will support ongoing Sourcing & Procurement management processes by providing targeted detailed advanced analytics and insights; dashboards, market basket, negotiation preparation; value tracking and reporting; supplier performance management support; digital and data management; catalog management; process analysis and enablement support; communication, change management and training support; and supporting other infrastructure development and continuous improvement as required.

Must-Haves
- 3-5 years of purchasing/procurement/sourcing work experience in, data analysis, dashboard creation, and management.
- Coupa Experience is a huge advantage
- Familiarity with sourcing events and savings methodologies preferred
- Data Analysis, Advanced MS Excel, Google Sheets, Presto Database, Tableau
- General knowledge and understanding of procurement fundamentals
- AI/Machine Learning a plus
- Strong customer service orientation
- Highly Professional and Sense of urgency due to cross-functional and fast-moving nature of operations, Big picture thinking, prioritization (comfortable with multi-tasking)
- Ability to work independently as well as cross-functionally, with non-technical stakeholders.
