Appgate, the market leader in Zero Trust Network Access and online fraud prevention, is seeking a Senior Web Developer to join its experienced in-house marketing team. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with a passion for working in a fun, fast-paced environment to translate design into highly functional and aesthetically pleasing web experiences.
Reports to: Director, Brand and Content Strategy
Position Responsibilities:
- Building wireframes and custom HTML templates for use in Craft CMS or Pardot Marketing Automation Platform
- Deploying updates to web properties from staging environment to live
- Maintenance and optimization of existing web properties to ensure optimal website performance, including A/B testing of pages/forms
- Strategic advisor and collaborator with marketing and design teams regarding adherence to accessibility and UX best practices
- Developing clear documentation of workflows and processes
- Staying up-to-date with the latest development technologies and methodologies
- Monitoring and keeping all “back-end” technologies current on the site
Experience & Qualifications:
- Proactive, agile problem solver with 3-5 years of front-end web development experience. Back-end web development experience is a plus.
- Clear communicator and experienced collaborator who understands how to work cross-functionally with marketing and design teams
- Strong knowledge of HTML/CSS/Javascript
- Proficient in PHP and MySQL
- Skilled in building front-end environments using Craft CMS or other PHP-based CMS platforms
- Experience with custom module development, Git repositories and cross-browser testing and debugging
- Basic SQL and database skill
- Basic back-end developments skills a plus
- Ability to identify potential website issues and formulate plans to efficiently improve the performance of Appgate’s web properties
- Ability to work remotely, while self-managing daily and weekly workload based on the needs and priorities of the team
