The Contracting Manager* will report to the Sr. Director of Distribution and will be responsible for developing and maintaining the global contracting strategy preparing, and recording business contracts on behalf of AMR Collection Americas in conjunction for global sales and distribution team.
The Contracting Manager will be responsible for:
- Research contract’s terms, alerting parties to renewals or extensions and tracking all communications between AMR Collection and various accounts in the wholesale tour operator & OTA
- Management of end to end corporate promotional calendars including execution with cross-departmental teams, external stakeholders, sales teams, and resort teams
- Oversight of leisure group process and contracts globally ensuring competitiveness in policies and procedures, while maximizing efforts with third party channels in conjunction with sales and distribution teams
- Management of commercial reference guides and training manuals for commercial process with a specific focus on sales and distribution corporate and resort processes regarding commercial topics
- Parity Monitoring including establishing KPI and reporting monthly summaries on channel compliance and competitiveness. Partners closely with stakeholders to ensure Best Rate Guarantee, and Blacklist guidelines are maintained globally
- Lead a team of 5-7 directly to achieve goals and projects related to department responsibilities
- Performs other duties or special projects as required or as assigned by a manager
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or 5 years experience
- 3-5 years travel industry experience preferably with account management, resort contracting and product development/procurement
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and ability to create and conduct PowerPoint presentations
- Spanish speaking would be beneficial but not required
