Come join us at Apple Ridge Care Center as we care for our residents in our 60, bed facility. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our team. As a Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing support and assistance to individuals and families in need. Your primary responsibilities will include addiction counseling, child and family counseling, patient care, data collection and coding, mental health counseling, case management, and utilizing ICD-10 codes.
### Duties
- Conduct addiction counseling sessions with individuals struggling with substance abuse
- Provide child and family counseling services to address emotional and behavioral issues
- Offer patient care and support to individuals in hospitals or healthcare facilities
- Collect data and maintain accurate records of client information
- Utilize coding systems such as ICD-10 for proper documentation
- Conduct mental health counseling sessions to address various psychological concerns
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Provide case management services to ensure clients receive necessary resources and support
### Experience
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work or related field
- Previous experience in addiction counseling, child and family counseling, or mental health counseling
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10 coding system
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
