Apple’s Internet Software & Services team is seeking an experienced, thoughtful, and entrepreneurial individual to coordinate production for our growing live sports video business. The Coordinating Producer, Live Sports will support our live production team, other internal cross-functional groups, and external production partners on complex tasks related to planning, coordinating, and producing live sporting events. In this role, you will be involved in every stage of the production from pre-production planning to the live event broadcast. This role requires great flexibility, the ability to deal with ambiguity, and a high production competence. A successful candidate has a growth mindset and does not need much oversight, as they have exceptional stakeholder and project management skills needed to balance competing priorities and deadlines. The role requires a highly motivated, adaptive self-starter to meet goals and achieve hard deadlines. Candidates must have a proven track record of producing high level, live events and a deep understanding of the live sports production space.
Key Qualifications
- 8 to 12 years of experience producing live sports events
- Experience overseeing all creative aspects of development production, and post-production
- Experience coordinating shoots for broadcast, cable, or digital media outlets
- Willing to travel >50% to produce on-air, live sporting events
- Experience owning program strategy and end to end delivery
- Strong knowledge of professional sports
Description
- Handling live event production planning details, schedules, logistics and event documentation - Working side-by-side with internal teams and external partners on running day-today operations for live sports broadcasts - Collaborating with internal and external partners on media planning, graphics, engineering, programming, and product features - Cross-functional communication to internal teams to advise the business on production workflows and on-air talent recommendations - Delivering high-quality, live event broadcasts
Education & Experience
BA/BS degree preferred.

Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $95,000 and $188,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
