What are the responsibilities and job description for the Flower Delivery Driver position at Appleblossoms Florist?
We are looking for a responsible Delivery Driver to deliver flower arrangements promptly to our customers. Our delivery vehicle is a small transit van and easy to maneuver. You will represent our company in a professional and cheerful manner to increase customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Deliver flower arrangements of all sizes to different addresses and through different routes within a 25 mile radius of Spencer, MA.
- Follow routes and delivery schedule.
- Call customers to confirm deliveries.
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle.
- Document delivery progress.
- Enjoy seeing a smile on the customers faces when you hand them their flowers!
Skills
- Experience in the customer service industry. Must be happy, easy going, and people friendly!
- Valid driver’s license.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Good driving record with no traffic violations.
- Great problem solver.
- Ability to lift 25 - 45 pounds ( large floral pieces for funerals and weddings).
- High school degree
