About the Park:
Jennings KOA RV Park is located right before the Florida/Georgia line, right off of I75. We are seeking a full-time, year-round management couple for our 124 site RV park in Jennings, FL to oversee the park's operations, marketing and guest relations.
About the Job:
Office and Park Management
As the RV Park Manager, you will have responsibility for all the operational aspects and profitability of the park. You will serve as the day-to-day point of contact for guests having a positive atmosphere and responsive service.
We are looking for talented candidates who are strong people leaders, customer care pros and take enormous pride in a job well done. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:
· Overall management of our RV Park
· Respond to all guest inquiries in a timely fashion and prospective guest inquiries.
· Make reservations and check in all guests while maintaining a positive guest interaction.
· Receive and resolve guest complaints.
· Coordinate team member selection, training and development while ensuring all team members comply with appropriate policies and operational procedures.
· Enforce Park's rules and regulations and standards.
· Ensure compliance with federal state and local agencies that regulate fair housing laws and resort operations.
· Work with Director of Marketing to draft and review all marketing efforts for the property.
· Oversee all capital expenditure improvements with the guidance of the Operations Manager.
Maintenance and Groundskeeping
You will be responsible for the oversight of the overall maintenance of our RV Park. The Maintenance Manager (reporting to the RV Park Managers) is responsible that the facility grounds are maintained, including cleanliness to company expectations| Perform general maintenance, including light electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and landscaping as needed | Report maintenance and/or grounds concerns to management| Mow lawns, treat weeds, trim trees and hedges, and general landscaping as requested by management | Upkeep of onsite buildings, sidewalks and pool area including painting and power washing| Collect trash and yard waste | Maintain swimming pool and pool area | Dispense propane | Maintain cabins (cleaning and repairing as needed) | Work on special projects as requested
Job Requirements:
A strong sense of passion, integrity, honesty, and personal responsibility | Great with managing people | Motivation and dedication to serving customers and a job well done | 3 to 5 years of experience in Asset or Property Management | Flexible with work hours, including weekends | Ability to actively walk through the park and facilities while performing work duties| Highschool Diploma or GED required | Great communication skills a must | Proficient in Microsoft Office | Familiar with campground management software or willingness to quickly learn | Ability to spend long periods of time in front of a computer| Ability to lift up to 25 pounds |Valid driver's license required
Preferred:
- Previous RV Park or campground, resort or hospitality experience a PLUS
- Live on-site preferred either in your RV with a site provided by us or in a managers home (available on site)
Compensation:
Salary: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
