What are the responsibilities and job description for the Matron Or Porter position at Applegreen?
We are looking for a Porter or Matron to help manage our cleaning supplies inventory. The Porter will be responsible for the organization, maintenance and storage of our cleaning supplies inventory. This position is part of our Operations team.
Responsibilities
- Receive and organize cleaning supplies, as well as other warehouse supplies
- Organize cleaning supplies in the cleanroom
- Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse and cleanout process
- Perform general cleaning of the facility, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and trash removal
- Perform cleaning of office equipment as needed (e.g. photocopiers, filing cabinets)
- Clean facility restrooms according to health and safety standards
- Communicate with managers about stock levels and maintenance needs
- Keep track of inventory levels in the warehouse and restock as needed
- Other duties as assigned by management
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- 1-2 years of related experience preferred, not required
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly, as well as climb stairs at times
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.50 per hour
