What are the responsibilities and job description for the A/R Specialist position at AppleOne?
Temporary Accounts Receivable Specialist - 4-6 Months
Proactively manage and review accounts to identify overdue payments and minimize outstanding receivables, employing professional communication strategies to enhance customer relations and encourage the settlement of overdue invoices.
Undertake thorough investigation and resolution of account discrepancies, including deductions, disputes, cash application issues, and inter-company financial matters, ensuring accuracy and customer satisfaction.
Analyze and determine the underlying causes of account delinquencies, collaborating with the management team to refine processes and strategies for more efficient and timely debt recovery.
Contribute to the Accounting Department by performing additional tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a team-oriented mindset.
Qualifications:
An Associate's Degree in Accounting is preferred, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting considered an additional asset.
A minimum of five years' experience in a role focused on receivables and collections, highlighting a strong track record in managing financial accounts.
Exceptional customer service skills, with a proven ability to maintain and enhance client relationships.
A keen eye for detail and superior organizational abilities, ensuring high levels of accuracy in all tasks.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat, demonstrating strong technical skills and the ability to adapt to various software platforms.
