Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Clerk

Location: Fort Mill, SC
Salary: $19 - $22 per hour

Position Summary:
The Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Clerk will play a vital role in managing the financial transactions of our company. This position will be responsible for processing accounts payable invoices, reconciling vendor statements, processing payments, and managing accounts receivable functions. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

-Process accounts payable invoices accurately and timely.
-Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
-Prepare and process payments, including checks, ACH transfers, and wire transfers.
-Manage accounts receivable functions, including invoicing and collections.
-Communicate with vendors and clients regarding payment inquiries and discrepancies.
-Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting.
-Maintain accurate and complete records of financial transactions.
-Collaborate with internal departments to resolve financial issues and discrepancies.
-Assist with special projects and tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements:

-High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
-1-2 years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or related field.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
-Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) preferred.
-Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
-Excellent organizational and time management skills.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
