What are the responsibilities and job description for the Audio Visual Technician position at AppleOne?
Works closely with local and remote AV Techs to produce on-site and multi-site events. Supports a wide array of AV equipment/services including video conferencing, projection and LCD/LED displays, audio systems, wireless microphone systems, camera operation and video recording, lighting, control systems, and other collaborative technology devices. Sets and strikes event equipment and furniture, including easels, flipcharts, backdrops, podiums, power supplies and cable runs. Excellent communication skills. Familiarity with hardware from manufacturers including, but not limited to, Biamp, Poly, Crestron, Extron, Cisco, Logitech, Aver, Shure, etc. Knowledge of basic video shooting, image framing and post-production services. PC proficiency: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio. Comfortable with iOS and Android mobile operating systems. Strong customer service skills. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to work flexible hours (some evenings and weekends). Ability to obtain and/or maintain a valid driver's license. Ability to stand for long periods of time. 4 years related industry experience required; 6 years preferred. At least 2 years experience in one or more of the following: Managing and supporting virtual meetings with Teams, Zoom, etc. Supporting Microsoft Teams Rooms on Windows and Android OS. Supporting Zoom meetings, including meetings, webinars, breakout rooms, etc. Troubleshooting Windows and Mac OS in relation to AV, Web Conferencing, and networking issues. High school diploma or equivalent required.
