What are the responsibilities and job description for the Benefits Assistant position at AppleOne?
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
• Enter waiver forms
• Audit enrollment records between ADP WFN and vendors• systems
• Track and process COBRA events
• Track and process ACA-eligible offering
• Process deduction reconciliation report and discrepancy reports
• Distribute communications and follow through with employees and other stakeholders via the benefit team email
• Monitor the benefits team inbox
• Track employees who are missing their email personal addresses and beneficiary information
• Preparing benefit packets/checklists for new hires and terminations
• Track new hires and enrollments
• Maintains customer confidence and protect operations by keeping financial information and employee data strictly confidential
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Experience with ADP WFN Benefit Enrollment System is a plus!
• Proficient technical aptitude with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, particular data manipulation
• Solid knowledge of the administration of health & welfare and retirement programs
• Familiar with benefit plan compliance (HIPAA, COBRA, 5500s, ERISA, ACA reporting, etc.)
• Deliver world-class communications regarding the company•s benefit programs
• Excellent verbal & written communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent analytical, organization and record-keeping skills
Required Education and Experience:
• Associate degree and 3 years of progressive employee benefits administration experience or 5 years of progressive employee benefits administration AppleOne is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
