Our client is looking for a writer with experience working with data/analytics teams to write insights and data driven stories
• Key projects: In this role the writer will be working on a bi-weekly newsletter, case studies and insights.
• Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: Most of the day consists of writing and working with data journalism.
Summary:
The main function of a Communications Specialist is to assist corporate communications with message development, writing, and editing.
Job Responsibilities:
• Responsible for ensuring timely, creative and accurate dissemination of news, multimedia content and information
• Create a variety of content for platforms, ensuring quality, accuracy and effective storytelling that aligns with corporate messaging
• Forecast and track marketing and sales trends, analyzing collected data.
• Works closely with Client's Product corporate sales team to write and finalize monthly and annual press release.
Skills:
• Verbal and written communication skills, negotiation skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Basic ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
• Basic knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.
• Basic knowledge of media production, communication and dissemination techniques and methods.
Education/Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent training preferred.
• 2-4 years related experience required.
Top 3 Skills Required Years of Experience
1. Minimum 4 years of experience with technical writing.
2. Minimum 4 years of experience working with data journalism.
3. Minimum 2 years of experience with interviewing/research skills.
