Industrial Mechanic

Excellent employment opportunity in the Manufacturing industry as an Industrial Mechanic. Primary Function: This position is responsible for preparing, adjusting and operating industrial production machinery following established work plan. Perform replacement and maintenance of machinery, tooling and fixtures following safety standards, quality standards and established company policies and procedures. Responsibilities: •Prepare and make adjustments to advanced level production machinery following manufacturing product specifications and established production schedules. •Responsible for equipment, machines and materials in the work area. •Operate production machinery following safety standards and Production Department procedures. •Perform basic level repairs to production machinery as required. •Continually evaluate material requirements for manufacturing parts for machine maintenance and production materials for production to customers. •Document and report daily inventory control form and/or scrap as applicable. •Interpret and apply manufactured product specifications to the operation of production machinery. •Perform preventive maintenance on production machinery. •Inspect parts following drawings and/or schematics. •Adjust mechanical and pneumatic components to production machines ensuring compliance with product specifications and quality standards. •Maintain up to date documentation required in accordance with quality systems and department procedures. •Identify deficiencies and repair needs to production machinery ensuring maximum machine utilization. •Perform visual inspections of manufactured product components ensuring they meet quality standards.
