Great opportunity for a Work Control Planner on site in Aiken, SC.
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS • Bachelors of Science. • 8 years of nuclear experience. • 8 years proven work experience in work control, materials management, E&I/Mechanical maintenance and related areas. • Proven experience in work control planning in Nuclear and Waste Solidification. • Practical knowledge of Waste Solidification facilities and operations. • Proven experience in the development, review and issuance of work control packages. • Excellent interpersonal skills so as to establish and cultivate positive working relationships and interface with both internal and external customers. • Proven knowledge of Department of Energy operating policies, rules, and regulations. • Advanced working experience with Asset Suite, Microsoft Word, EDWS and Puridiom.
JOB DUTIES AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED (Include but not limited to and must have proven experience and ability to do with no training): • Provide support in the preparation, review and issuance of large and/or complex equipment and/or system modification, corrective maintenance, and preventive maintenance work packages. • Provide maintenance work package technical review. • Analyze time and material requirements for work activity. • Prepare detailed material takeoffs/specifications for Bill of Materials and work activity labor estimates. • Prepare, review and issue corrective maintenance work packages. • Develop and issue preventive maintenance records and work packages. • Prepare and/or review efficient and specific instructions for the isolation, containment de-energization of various mechanical, physical, electrical, chemical energy systems or radiological sources according to established procedures.
