Clinical Supervisor- School Based Services

Applewood Centers is a private, nonprofit agency providing mental health services, social services and education to children, adolescents and families living in Cuyahoga and Lorain counties. Dedicated to addressing a variety of behavioral, emotional and learning problems, we provide a continuum of care from outpatient counseling to residential treatment.

Position Summary: We are hiring a Clinical Supervisor for our School Based Services! The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for providing management, guidance and coaching to clinical staff who work with at risk students in school districts in the Greater Cleveland area. If needed, they will also provide limited mental health, consultation services or professional development in the school setting.

Under administrative direction, this full time supervisor provides guidance, instruction and direct individual and group supervision to assigned school based counselors and interns. Facilitates therapists' acquisition of skills for delivery of diagnostic assessment, psychotherapy, TBS, and consultation services, as well as staff implementation of selected evidence based treatment models.

This position is primarily office-based; however, there is flexibility with working from home. This position also requires flexibility of schedule and ability to travel, as needed, in response to the needs of assigned staff and schools.

Requirements:

• A Master’s Degree and LISW-S, LPCC-S or LIMFT-S

• Must have experience working as a School-Based Clinician or Therapist 

• 2 years prior experience providing clinical supervision of staff who delivers mental health services in the school and community

• Prior experience treating complex clients, as well as demonstrated administrative understanding of the school and community settings

• A full comprehension of Medicaid standards of services, billing, documentation and file audits
