Caregiver QMAP 12 Hour Overnights

The position we have open is a 12 hour overnight (7pm-7am) on the weekends, Friday-Sunday. This person will be able to travel to all five of our locations if needed.

We are seeking a Caregiver to join our team! You will assist in the daily care of individuals with Alzheimer’s and Dementia. Caregiving with Applewood Our House starts with a warm relationship between our team and our families.

As a caregiver with Applewood Our House you will help run the household, we are a small but mighty family with our residents. Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Spending time getting to know the residents 

• Activities with the Residents 

• Cooking 

• Cleaning

• Bathing and toileting residents

• Passing Meds / Med Counts

Responsibilities:

• Assist Residents with daily living activities 

• Communicate ongoing care results and updates to relevant parties

• Collaborate with Residents and families for best care opportunities

• Maintain a healthy and comfortable living environment

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in personal care or other related fields

• Compassionate and caring demeanor 

• Ability to build rapport with Residents

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Compensation:

• Starting range $13.00-$14.00 per hour

• Health, Dental and Vision Insurance after 90 days

• Company paid Life Insurance after 90 days

• One (1) paid day off per month worked after 90 days
