Applied Composites (AC) is seeking a Tooling Coordinator who performs routine administrative functions and completes daily tasks under general supervision in support of one or more Manufacturing/Operation teams.

Job Accountabilities:
- Performs routine administrative functions under general supervision to support administrative teams.
- Updates special tooling database in UniPoint
- Manage special tooling maintenance
- Perform verification and validation on special tooling as required
- Inspect(s) tools
- Performs receiving of special tooling, and distribution of tools, record and information management, and other supporting services
- Operates a variety of equipment in the performance of duties (forklift, pallet jack)
- Other responsibilities as assigned and not limited to
- Prepare special tooling, fixtures, jigs (etc.) for shipment
Job Specifications:
Education: Requires a High School Diploma/GED or appropriate certifications may be substituted to meet educational requirements only.
Years’ Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
Skills:
- Possesses strong phone etiquette and customer service skills, both internal and external
- Possesses strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize with changing situations
- Requires strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Possesses a positive professional image and a high level of ethical behavior in exercising consistent judgment, discretion and confidentiality in all interactions and matters of significance
- Ability to work effectively under conditions of multiple and/or competing projects/deadlines prioritizing/reprioritizing as needed to meet departmental and/or business commitments and objectives
- Ability to work independently, under general supervision and negotiate and set priorities required
- Possesses a high degree of personal accountability
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
