Position Overview:
The Engineering Supervisor will coordinate the daily activities of the mechanical engineering staff while ensuring the successful design and execution of the company’s mechanical engineering projects, processes, tools, and equipment.
Responsibilities Include:
- Supervises various mechanical engineering functions
- Facilitates communication among engineers and internal and external resources to ensure project specifications, budgets, and deadlines are clear
- Serves as a project manager for multiple projects, assisting with creation of timelines, cost projections, and organizing meetings
- Reviews engineering work and projects for technical accuracy
- Maintains and ensures compliance to departmental and company policies, procedures, and standards
- Designs products and works with team to create design sketches, layouts, and drawings
- Produces specifications for products and chooses materials and components for production
- Builds models and prototypes
- Stays current on industry standards and codes
- Assists mechanical engineering manager and department as needed

Required Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering required; mechanical engineering discipline preferred
- At least 5 years of related experience required
- Proficient knowledge of MRP/ERP software
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Expert knowledge of Autodesk AutoCAD® and Inventor
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting as a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to access, inspect, and test products and equipment in a manufacturing environment
