In Applied Global Services (AGS), we collaborate with customers to predict the and solve manufacturing challenges, making their equipment and factories more productive through innovative technology-enabled consulting, spare parts, services, automation software and upgrades.
The Epitaxy (EPI) Service Business Unit (SBU) group is seeking an ambitious candidate who possess a strong technical knowledge (preferably EPI/Thermal semiconductor equipment in the areas of hardware, process engineering or customer fab operations) as well as solid business acumen. The candidate will work closely with a broad matrix team to understand both internal and external customer's need and help develop business strategy to meet them.
This position requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise. Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends best practices. Candidate will be required to help solve complex problems and take a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions. You should be able to work independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations as well as the communication skills required to develop a great partnership with cross functional team. This position may lead functional teams or projects.
Key Responsibilities

Owns on demand service growth strategy and roadmap
- Collect and maintain competitive intelligence database
- Analyze marketing data, draw insight and develop it into a workable strategy
- Lead market and segmentation analysis activities

Cost model development
- Own service should cost model for EPI product equipment
- Develop robust methodology to improve the accuracy of the model

Technical program management
- Identify, manage and drive to complete cost reduction programs with cross-functional teams
- Manage part obsolescence program
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (MBA, Master’s preferred)
- 5 years of experience
- Candidate who can demonstrate strong aptitude in data analysis and project management a strong plus (SQL, Tableau, Excel, SAS)
- Experience in technical roles (product / process development, engineering project management) strongly preferred
- Experience with semiconductor equipment and process preferred, but not required
