Works as a portfolio manager for a given business segment primarily in the areas of operations and engineering. Ensures alignment with internal customers on business needs, roadmap and priorities. Coordinates with functional analyst and respective IT teams delivery of comprehensive solution based on business requirements. May lead functional teams or projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Works as a portfolio manager for a given business segment. Initial role will be supporting the new product introduction team under Engineering IT
- Leads projects with notable risk and complexity; develops the strategy for project execution
- Experience in managing complex projects with several functions involved
- Communicates complex ideas in simple terms, anticipates potential objections and persuades others, often at senior levels, to adopt a different point of view
- Impacts the direction and resource allocation for program, project or services; works within general functional policies and industry guidelines
- Anticipates business and regulatory issues; recommends product, process or service improvements
Functional Knowledge
- Teamcenter/NX technical or business process knowledge is a plus
- SAP ERP knowledge
- Experience in managing projects in Information Technology
- Versed in Microsoft Project
- Experience in Agile software development methodology is a plus

- Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services

- May lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity

Education
- Bachelor of science at a minimum
- 7-10 years experience
