Position Description
As a member of a Moving Team, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:
- Assist with various move activities across the Applied Medical campus
- Ensure customer satisfaction by consistently and clearly communicating with customers during the moving process including scheduling and all pre- and post-move activities
- Breakdown and set up furniture items based on customer needs
- Check and inspect all furniture for any damages and make necessary adjustments to consistently ensure safety
- Assist with warehouse set up and inventory
- Assist internal customers during the move with excellent customer service
Position Requirements
This position requires the following skills and attributes:
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Ability to perform physical activities to complete tasks, such as loading, moving and unloading pack items
- Capability to lift up to 200 lbs
- Availability to travel as needed
- Strong project and time management capabilities to fulfill multiple projects simultaneously
- Exhibit and practice courteous, timely and professional communication with internal and external customers

Preferred
The following skills and attributes are preferred:
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact with internal team members and customers
- Ability to operate standard moving tools and machine operated equipment, like a forklift.
- Safe and clean driving record
- Driver’s license Class C is a plus
- Basic computer skills
