The Purchasing / Administrative Assistant will administer the purchasing functions throughout the division, which includes purchasing supplies and materials, reviewing/reconciling P-Card transactions and travel expense reports, and vouchering invoices. Furthermore, the assistant will help with reception and greeting of guests. Part-time employees working 30 hours/week are eligible for full-time benefits (medical, dental, vision), along with ESOP, and 401(k). The qualified candidate should have familiarity with Microsoft Office software and will be using a personal computer in performing assigned tasks,
Purchasing / Administrative Assistant Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent, and 3 years of office administration experience.
- Experience with Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Good computer skills
- Good written and verbal skills
- Pleasant personality & business casual/professional appearance
- Ability to learn new processes and software
- Very organized and detail oriented a MUST
- Ability to juggle multiple open items
Purchasing / Administrative Preferences:
- Experience with accounting or bookkeeping
- Familiarity with travel expense reports
- Familiarity with Deltek and/or CostPoint a PLUS
- Associates degree or Trade School preferred
- Experience working with government accounting & property helpful
