CAD Operator/Drafter

Job Summary:
Needed: The level of service includes one Drafter/CAD Operator IV for 1920 working hours. The CAD Operator |V will be a technical resource with expertise in computer aided design and drafting systems. The incumbent must be fully knowledgeable of MicroStation by Bentley, AutoCAD by Autodesk format, and manual drafting. They must demonstrate experience in such areas as: ensuring effective execution of projects, recommending changes to improve efficiency, tracking materials and resources, and coordinating work; ability to work well in a team environment, data collection, field site visits to gather information to update and verify, structures, roads, pavements, utilities, grounds, and other real property facilities, adherence to health and safety and Government procedures and policies, superior knowledge of fundamental principles and their application to engineering, or relevant disciplines, computer aided design and drafting, and computer database and word processing. The incumbent shall have a minimum of five (5) years of experience working in CADD

The candidate shall provide facility management support to the USAG Devens RFTA Directorate of Public Works (DPW). The candidate shall compile historical data, prepare required reports, and submit all information as specified by the deliverables presented by the client.

The Candidate shall have basic knowledge of civil engineering concepts and infrastructure systems

The Candidate shall ensure all work in support of mission requirements tendered to the Client for acceptance conform to the measurable performance standards of quality, timeliness, and quantity specified.

The Candidate will be required to maintain tier 1 non-sensitive security clearance at time of employment start date and for the life of employment. Any individuals designated as key personnel shall be able to understand, speak, read, and write the English language.

Regular (normal) hours are from 0730 – 1600 hours, except Federal holidays or when the Government facility is closed due to local or national emergencies, administrative closings, or similar Government directed facility closings.
