For the Calibration Technician II position we are offering a $1,000 sign-on bonus. As well as a $1,000 retention bonus paid after 1 year. The total compensation for this position per year is $63,250 to $84,510 depending on experience, hourly rate, overtime worked and bonus. The hourly rate is $25.00 - $28.50.

Graftel offers a personalized and professional team for your flow meter calibration needs. We have an accredited ISO-17025 in-house 900 GPM liquid and 18,000 LPM gas flow meter calibration lab. We also Offer a complete line of flow and testing equipment. Our highly trained technicians can perform accredited ISO-17025 on-site calibrations at your facility. Reducing down time, and ensuring equipment is back in operation is always a priority of ours.
Calibration Technician II
The Calibration Technician tests, calibrates, and repairs electrical, mechanical, electromechanical, and electronic measuring, recording, and indicating instruments and equipment for conformance to established standards, and assists in formulating calibration standards by performing the following duties.
- Sets up standard and special purpose laboratory equipment to test, evaluate, and calibrate other instruments and test equipment.
- Disassembles instruments and equipment and inspects components for defects.
- Measures parts for conformity with specifications.
- Aligns, repairs, replaces, and balances component parts and circuitry.
- Reassembles and calibrates instruments and equipment
- Devises formulas to solve problems in measurements and calibrations.
- Trains less skilled technicians in methods, concepts, and procedures.
- Participates in on-the-job training and related formal education.
- Operates computer software for instrument controllers/computers following established formats and programs. Demonstrates advanced knowledge of internal and proprietary software.
Requirements:
· Three years of work experience closely related to the duties and responsibilities of this position, or equivalent combination of
education and experience.
· Two-year degree from tech school or equivalent is preferred but not required.
· Prior military with PMEL, calibration, avionics, nuclear power school, nuclear field A school, electronics repair or related occupations or training is highly desirable.
