Project Manager -Panama City

Requirements

Program Managers are responsible for the overall program definition, organization, and direction of short and long range plans. You’ll need to possess sufficient corporate experience and authority to manage, direct, execute and control all elements of the project. You will also be the primary technical point of contact between the contractor and the COR, and be responsible for the coordination of all contractor technical activities. Finally, you will need some technical experience that includes substantial background in the design, development, test and support of complex software, as a participating member of technical teams.

• A SECRET clearance, you also need to be a US Citizen.
• A BS degree in a managerial or technical area.
• Eight years of progressively responsible civilian or military professional experience and demonstrated experience in managing and directing the efforts of diverse task teams supporting the U.S. Navy systems being developed, modified, or supported and experience managing engineering support services task orders.
• Logistics experience.
• A solution-oriented personality that is not only able to solve complex problems, but also explain decisions in a manner that makes sense to the rest of the team (this includes being able to speak intelligently with coders and intuitively with non-coders).
• The ability to provide guidance to those that need it and take advice from those offering to give it.
• Like most places, we work in an Agile/SCRUM environment, so you should understand concepts such as backlog grooming, story points, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
