Job Title: Automation Cell Operator
Department: Production
Reports To: Production Supervisor/Production Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Supervise the work of others: No
Position Summary:
The Automation Work Cell Operator runs automated machine work
cells according to specific schedules and procedures. The operator is
responsible for checking parts that are made by automated work cells
to ensure quality standards are met. The operator is responsible for
keeping the machines clean and troubleshooting minor error alarms.
Duties and Responsibilities:
This list is not comprehensive but meant to represent the most
common or important duties of the position. Other duties are required
and/or assigned
- Remove finished components/assemblies from work cells
- Inspect parts for overall integrity while machine is cycling
- Maintain quality and efficiency standards
- Complete paperwork accurately and legibly
- Follow instructions and procedures accurately and precisely
