IAA, Inc. is seeking an Account Manager, Inventory Analyst to join our team. This position can be located anywhere in the United States. Occasional travel to a local facility is required.
The Inventory Analyst is the onsite ambassador to our customers inventory and process execution. Responsible for working with and consulting branch staff on the auction process, inventory management, vehicle processing and customer asset protection. Assessing and distributing operational performance metrics, monitoring cycle times, and implementing and providing oversight for new processes, branch training and working with account managers by providing customer execution successes and opportunities. The Account Management Inventory Manager will also interact with IAA field operations, sales, and corporate personnel. This role requires a strong level of organization and the ability to transition effectively between branch yard support, administrative, operational and process related functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serves as customer inventory review and maintenance manager for assigned areas of responsibility
- Reviews branch intake process, Inventory asset protection, yard inventory condition to correct and identify corrective opportunities
- Trains yard staff members on customer vehicle check-in expectations, proper vehicle packing for best asset protection, and vehicle inventory asset handling compliance
- Assess insurance provider sale setup presentation, SLA compliance, and Auction attribute confirmation
- Confirms vehicle attribute accuracy and works with branch staff on vehicle enhancement opportunities
- Works with local branch staff and operational leadership in training on customer SLA expectations
- Serves as a contact for assigned customers; possesses a thorough knowledge of assigned accounts and a clear understanding of how to meet the individualized needs of the customer
- Communicates verbally and written reporting of inventory management findings, deficiencies, and training needs
- Develops in cooperation with branch staff and account management training schedules and training presentations
- Secondary point of contact for the customer(s)
- Provide consultation to IAA operations and customer(s) on all aspects of the vehicle life cycle, including vehicle release, pick-up, check-in, title, and auction to proactively identify improvement opportunities and solutions for both IAA’s and customer’s processes
- Secondary Operational liaison between IAA Account Management and IAA field and corporate staff
- Coordination and problem-solving for customer challenges
- Assist with inventory management, including review of aged inventory and related recommendations at a vehicle level and/or overall strategy to avoid aged inventory
- Other related duties as assigned by management
