We have an immediate (remote) Technical Business Analyst position available in Arlington, VA. If you join our team in this role, you will improve the overall customer experience related to information systems technology, integration, and service delivery for our government client. You will also be responsible for overseeing the implementation of technical business projects and solutions.
What You'll Do:
- Bachelor’s degree and 4 years' experience (will consider alternate certifications and/or job-specific experience in lieu of fully completed degree).
- Demonstrated analytical skills.
- Knowledge of structured analysis and design methodologies.
- Ability to translate systems requirements to business needs.
- Ability to understand and document complex technical topic in customer specific software tools.
- Experience using Jira and SharePoint.
- Ability to gather requirements and understand how topics relate to one another.
- Background in application service support.
- Proficiency with Windows & Unix OS and Cloud technologies.
- Proficiency with various networking topologies.
- Familiarity with Project Management and Software Development Lifecycle.
- Analyze IT requirements in business processes through requirements elicitation, solutions identification, risk analysis, and collaboration across teams.
- Communicate business needs of customer to gain alignment and translate those needs into technical requirements that can be implemented by developers.
- Develop assessment framework,and conduct assessments to identify and document recommendations and findings.
- Gather high-level business requirements and defines scope during initial discovery by conducting meetings/interviews and facilitating large group/cross-functional sessions with partners.
- Maintain awareness of the current and future directions of the industry and associated technologies, and, where appropriate, make recommendations for implementation of new/upgraded systems and technologies.
- Monitor, track, and manage financials for areas of responsibility for weekly reporting.
- Apply broad management skills and specialized functional and technical expertise to guide project teams in delivering client solutions or to manage the day-to-day operations of projects.
What You Bring:

- A current US Government Public Trust Clearance.
- Experience in ServiceNow suite.
- Working towards PMP test or current PMP certification.
- Experience working in a matrixed federal government environment.
