Job Description:

The Records Management Clerk is responsible for electronically archiving records pertaining to all training conducted, as well as other records required by the Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP).

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and scan documents with optical scanner into archive databases
  • Identify missing or incomplete documents, and retrieve as needed
  • Assist with archive record tracking system
  • Participate in the rotation of In-Processing and Graduations as needed
  • Collect and transport hard copies of student documents from other buildings
  • Complete data entry into the CDP Training Administration System (CTAS) for all training programs, and maintain files generated for all training programs
  • Generate data reports compiled by the CTAS
  • Package and transport documents to Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP) vault records as completed
  • Other duties as assigned

Educational Requirement: High School or GED equivalent required

Required Experience:

Requirement Knowledge:

  • High school graduate or GED equivalent required
  • Working knowledge and experience in computer software applications to include word processing, database, and spreadsheet (i.e., Word, Excel, and Access)
  • Must possess and exhibit excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must work occasional weekends and flexible hours if needed
