Overview:

Approved, the Northeast's largest private healthcare waste management company seeks a qualified hazmat field technician for our rapidly growing Hazardous Waste Management Division. Approved offers competitive wages, benefits, and plenty of room for advancement. No nights or weekends. The selected candidate will provide service to our hospital and laboratory clients. The ideal candidate is punctual, professional, and meets minimum requirements.

Duties:

- Conduct on-site assessments

-on-site and dockside waste collection
- waste segregation and consolidation

-Waste labeling and regulatory paperwork
- Minor lab pack services
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures

Skills:

Required Skills:
- Minimum 1-2 years of hazmat experience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to details
- Valid Class A or B CDL with hazmat endorsement (90 days to obtain)
- 24 or 40 hr HAZWOPER Training

Nice-to-Have Skills:
-Training is preferred, but company training is provided for candidates who meet other requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
