Mobile Phlebotomist/ Paramedical Examiner

APPS Paramedical NW is looking for a mobile phlebotomist to join our team.

We are the largest locally owned and operated Paramedical Company in Oregon and Southwest Washington.

We are looking for mobile examiners in Wilsonville and surrounding communities who can work full or part time depending on your availability.

This position will require the candidate to be an excellent Phlebotomist, obtain vital signs, urine samples and complete a medical history on our clients.

The candidate will have reliable transportation and be able to drive to the clients homes to complete the exams.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform routine blood draws and blood tests as needed
• Collect and process blood, urine and saliva samples according to the American Society of Clinical Chemists in good medical practice
• Prepare blood samples for lab testing according to American Society of Clinical Chemist in good medical practice
• Prepare specimens for imaging, PCR, or other procedures according to American Society of Clinical Chemist in good medical practice
• Prepare specimens for clinical testing as assigned by the Clinical Laboratory Director or other managers as needed
• Perform administrative duties as assigned
• Perform phlebotomy procedures such as: venipuncture, phlebotomy, and venipuncture procedures (blood draws)
• Accurately record all medical histories in the electronic medical record and/or hard copy record.
• Collect and document vital signs

Skills

• Proven experience as blood phlebotomist or related role
• Phlebotomy knowledge and experience (including digital labs) preferred but not required.
• Vital Signs
• Ability to handle confidential information accurately and responsibly.
• Good computer/ electronic skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Per diem

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Choose your own hours
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Rotating weekends
• Weekends as needed
