What You’ll Do:
APR Supply is a wholesale distributor of plumbing and HVAC products. As a distributor, APR sells thousands of different products. Our customers and employees require detailed product information when purchasing and selling. The primary responsibility of this position is to maintain and create content for the APR Supply product information management system that stores the product descriptions, attributes, specifications, documents, and videos. This information is used on our eCommerce storefront and can also be used by our employees when researching customer product requirements. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, data maintenance in our Eclipse ERP system as it relates to customers and products.
Required for Success:
- Proficiency with Windows and Office
- Aptitude for detail as accurate information is key
- Above average analytical skills are necessary to help determine relationships between products and identify and match similar products from different sources of data
- Intermediate to advanced spreadsheet skills with a strong comfort level writing excel formulas
- Experience with basic image editing
- Strong organizational skills
- Good communications skills and good command of writing
- Affinity for research
- Ability to be productive with minimal direct supervision
- A strong desire to provide a quality product to our customers, both internal and external
While not a requirement for the position, the following skills are a plus: Knowledge of plumbing and/or HVAC products; good math skills through at least Algebra, Web search/research skills, and eCommerce content administration experience. College degrees that are a plus include, Communications, English, Music, or many IT related degrees.
