Rate Range: $50-$53/Hr.
Job Description:
- A mid-senior level technical support engineer with hands on experience as Oracle App DBA, to manage a critical project for one of our biggest clients in banking domain focusing on SRE/DevOps roadmap.
- The individual should be passionate about technology and must have excellent communication and problem-solving skills with ability to work independently and/or as part of larger team.
- 5 years of experience as Oracle Apps DBA.
- Good experience in Oracle data load jobs via SQL Loader (SQLLDR).
- Handle incoming/outgoing data issues.
- Good experience in data maintenance jobs like data purge, partition drop/create.
- Experience in Index maintenance.
- Good experience working with Oracle objects like sequence, table, views, materialized views etc
- Experience troubleshooting PL/SQL code.
- Strong Technical Troubleshooting skill.
- Good experience in scripting – Shell, Automations.
- Well versed with ITIL - Incident Change Release management.
- Good experience on application monitoring tool like Splunk, AppDynamics , Grafana, Premetheus.
- Good experience in AutoSys or any scheduling mechanism.
- Knowledge of informatica.
- Knowledge of Banking domain (preferable)
- Handle outage calls efficiently, triage any issues, and fix them.
- Do Root Cause Analysis of repetitive and problem issues.
- Report issues and resolve as per process and documentation .
- Good understanding of Infrastructure Technologies like Linux, Windows, MW, Database
- Good knowledge of ITSM Process
- Preferrable good knowledge of SDLC
- First point of support for application incidents
- Identifies, diagnoses, and resolves functional and technical problems
- Ensure quality services are delivered with respect to the agreed service level agreement
- Clearly understand client business to recommend, provides and support application services
- Self motivated
- Good team member
