As a Junior AI/ML Engineer, you will play a key role in developing AI-driven solutions that include chatbots, smart workspaces, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) content ingestion pipelines. This position is ideal for a recent college graduate with a background in AI, RAG, and Python, who is eager to learn, innovate, and take initiative in a dynamic work environment. You will work closely with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams to turn concepts into reality. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for using new technologies and building innovative products and solutions.
In this role you will:
- Assist in the design and implementation of chatbot/smart workspace solutions that improve user experiences and streamline business processes.
- Contribute to the development and deployment of traditional Machine Learning (ML) models and predictive analytics to support operational insights.
- Help build and maintain content ingestion pipelines for RAG to ensure efficient data processing and retrieval.
- Collaborate with product management, engineering, and other stakeholders to integrate AI solutions into our ERP software.
- Participate in the end-to-end development process, from brainstorming ideas to production deployment.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in AI and related technologies, applying new knowledge to your work.
- Demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset by taking initiative, proposing new ideas, and seeking out opportunities for improvement.
About you:
This role typically requires some experience (0-2 years) with AI, RAG, and Python (from internships, academic projects, or personal projects) and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
To be ahead of the pack, you might have:
- Understanding of Machine Learning (ML) concepts and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn from more experienced team members.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) and conversational AI.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Exposure to ERP software or the manufacturing industry.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on innovation and creativity.
