APTIM has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager of operations Supporting Tiya Support Services at Fort Moore supporting the Director of Public Works. The successful candidate will ensure organizational effectiveness by providing leadership to staff executing work features identified in the performance work statement and accountable for project profit & loss, as well as provide direct support to the Fort Moore Mission and the Tiya leadership, Fort Moore Garrison Commander and Contracting Officer while meeting internal requirements of the company.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Calculate labor and equipment requirements and production specifications, using standard formulas
- Confer with management or subordinates to resolve worker problems, complaints, or grievances
- Confer with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments
- Determine standards, budgets, production goals, and rates, based on company policies, equipment and labor availability, and workloads. Direct and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in execution of work features
- Enforce environment, safety, and health regulations. Interpret specifications, blueprints, job orders, and company policies and procedures for workers
- Maintain operations data such as time, production, and cost records, and prepare management reports of production results. Plan and develop new products and production processes
- Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals
- Read and analyze charts, work orders, production schedules, and other records and reports, in order to determine production requirements and to evaluate current production estimates and outputs
- Recommend or implement measures to motivate employees and to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency. Recommend personnel actions such as hiring's and promotions
- Requisition materials, supplies, equipment parts, or repair services
- Develop and nurture collaborative relationships with key internal/external customers in a fluid environment
- Support business development activities to continually increase the current contract scope, as well as take advantage of new opportunities outside of the current contract
Basic Qualifications:
- Has in-depth experience, knowledge, and skills in operational management discipline. Works independently with minimal guidance while usually determining own work priorities
- Experience with CMMS (Maximo/GFEBs) a plus
- Experience working with Union personnel and union agreements
- Experience in leading personnel and labor relations
- Experience mentoring and advocating for colleagues with less experience
- Applies knowledge and skills to a wide range of standard and nonstandard situations
- Interprets customer needs, assesses requirements, and identifies solutions to non-standard requests
- Uses best practices and knowledge of internal/external business issues to improve products or services in own discipline
- Monitors and controls costs within own work
- Solves moderately complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions
- Manages own time to meet agreed targets; develops plans for short-term work activities in own area
- Explains difficult issues and works to establish consensus. Promotes teamwork, coaches and guides others
- Experience leading (30M ) Government contract in multi-layered operations (as prime or sub-contractor)
- Extensive and successful management of multiple Task Orders or smaller projects led by subordinate Project Managers
- Must have 10 years relevant experience
- Successful candidate will be subject to a government security investigation and must continually meet eligibility requirements for access to all areas of Fort Moore
- Prior military leadership experience a plus; prior Garrison or DPW leadership a major plus
