Job Overview:
Under supervision of Construction Manager, employees will perform a variety of rigorous physical tasks outdoors in all types of weather in support of cleanup of contaminated soils near Neihart, Montana.
Work may include: Constructing haul roads & installing bridges; expanding and capping on-site repository; excavating and hauling contaminated materials from stream channels and/or residential, commercial or private properties and backfilling/restoring properties to existing state.
Current schedule: Mon-Fri, 8-1/2 hrs/day.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Climb ladders, dig holes and trenches, clean up construction debris, load and unload construction materials from trucks both manually and with lifting equipment
- Remove, fill, or compact earth, hand dig around foundations and utilities, pour concrete, lay asphalt, handle hazardous and non-hazardous materials
- Operate hand tools and power tools, removing and properly disposing of debris and waste materials
- Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules, including wearing required personal safety equipment
Basic Qualifications:
- MUST LIVE WITHIN DAILY COMMUTE OF NEIHART, MT.
- Able to work outside in all types of weather
- Minimum 1 year experience with previous construction and/or environmental project work preferred.
- Requires physical strength, stamina, flexibility, and dexterity
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
- Preferred applicant will have current OSHA HAZWOPER training, not required, will train.
- A resume is preferred but not required when applying.

- Work to be performed between March and November, weather dependent
- Current schedule:
- Mon-Fri, 8-1/2 hrs/day
- 15 min morning/afternoon breaks
- 30 min meal break
