Signal and Power Solutions - Revenues of $9.5 billion in 2020. This segment provides technologies that serve as the vehicle's nervous system, including the complete design, manufacture, and assembly of its electrical architecture. This segment's products include engineered components, connectors, wiring assemblies, harnesses, cable management, electrical centers, and hybrid high voltage and safety distribution systems. Our products provide the critical signal distribution and computing power backbone supporting increased vehicle content and electrification, reduced emissions, and higher fuel economy.
Advanced Safety & User Experience - Revenues of $3.6 billion in 2020. This segment provides software-enabled solutions that serve as the vehicle's brain, improving safety, security, connectivity, and comfort. Products include; scalable active safety, in-cabin user experience systems, compute platforms for security, comfort, control functions, and on/off vehicle data management and communication solutions. The segment also works closely with Motional, Aptiv's automated mobility on demand (AMoD) joint venture with Hyundai.
Job Summary:
As the Onboarding Lead for Aptiv, you will be responsible for the development and delivery of the Aptiv new joiner experience, meant to drive retention, engagement and best in class experience. In this roll, you will oversee day-to-day management of all onboarding programs, activities, vendors, and projects. Working with the global Aptiv community, this candidate will help project manage onboarding initiatives, implement strategies and execute action plans of meant to drive engagement. You will ensure best in class practices for pre and post hire onboarding and orientation, being mindful of operational efficiency and effectiveness and engagement of global teams. In this role you will:
Your Role:
Ensure formal onboarding plans are in place for new starters, candidates, recruiters, coordinators and hiring managers who participate in recruitment and induction processes.
Manage global and local onboarding programs, including New Hire Orientation and Executive Learning Events.
Manage Global Onboarding SharePoint, to include updates, maintenance, communication and translations.
Maintain communications with global teams to ensure operational onboarding needs are met.
Maintain and update formal processes and documentation for global onboarding governance, incorporating tasks to be completed, stakeholder responsibilities, company organization and information, and systems navigation.
Establish and maintain relationships with key organizational stakeholders and communities for proactive feedback on value and ROI of the onboarding process.
Train and develop key stakeholders on best practices associated with onboarding, execution, tools and feedback mechanisms.
Work with the global HR community to develop best in class practices for offboarding processes, through management and analysis of exit interview information, processes and programs.
Establish onboarding KPI's, monitor and take actions to drive execution.
Provide consultative, problem-solving support for challenging onboarding and offboarding needs as they arise.
Manage vendor relationships for required TA operation needs.
