What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Supervisor position at Aptiv?
Troy, MI. Work with quality performance of wiring harnesses, ensure correct improvements/effectiveness implementation of manufacturing processes and product engineering, and lead continuous improvement of the quality systems implemented at manufacturing plants. Establish and maintain trackers to monitor quality improvement performance. Develop corrective actions in production. Provide monthly report to customers and provide technical expertise to customers to ensure customers’ effective handling of products in their processes. Requires Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering, and two years of experience in operation monitoring, quality management, operation inspection/diagnosis, operational and administrative processes analysis and improvement, risk analysis and mitigation, process flow analysis, variability-reduction-based process improvement, and root-cause standardization.
