ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Assists Meter Operations Field Supervisors with daily work assignments for all SEPA Meter Operations Field Service Representatives including the assignment of department generated "Metric" service orders.
- Processes service orders for the area New Business Inspector for properties that would require repairs or that the meter space is not to Aqua specifications and would require an inspection before installation.
- Utilizes Aqua's Customer Information System (Banner), Qlik, AMRA and ASOA to perform account investigation, system trouble shooting, service order investigation or to make corrections and other miscellaneous requests based on the customer's verbal or written inquiry.
- Communicates with both internal and external customers, contractors, utility companies, municipal, county and state authorities. Must be able to articulate technical information from GIS plans, plates and tap cards to field personnel.
- Familiar with Aqua Pennsylvania, Inc. Tariff as it relates to rates, rules, regulations, SEPA meter installation specifications and Cross Connection Control policy. In addition, PA Title 52 Chapter 56 Standards and Billing Procedures and Ch. 65 Water Service.
- Works closely with local Divisions, ACO, Legal, New Business, Cross Connection Control and Technical Services to assist with appointment scheduling, service order generation, account inquiries/trouble shooting, order status, and cancelations.
- Performs other duties as assigned, responsibilities in the office can change and tasks must be completed to operate the business effectively.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ahigh school graduate, Associate or undergraduate degree preferred
- A minimum of three years of business experiencein a Customer Service or Customer Field Service capacity.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Familiarity with Aqua Pennsylvania Inc. Tariff as it relates to rates, rules, regulations, SEP meter installation specifications and cross connection control policies
- A basic knowledge of PA Title 52 Chapter 56 Standards and Billing Procedures and Chapter 65 Water Service
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications-Word PowerPoint and Excel
- Good writing, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A team player able to work effectively in a team fostered multi-tasking environment
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Perform sedentary work- exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
