Responsibilities:

Manage the Life Support Systems department and animal departments, their exhibits and associated programs
Supervise Curators, Assistant Curators, and the coordinator of all activities of personnel engaged in the inventory, care, feeding and handling of animals
Ensure that all proper records of animal inventory, animal dispositions and health records are accurate and maintained
Ensure the facility stays consistent with AZA and American Human Guidelines

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Zoology or related field with relevant course work
Complete knowledge of all phases of animal husbandry programs, systems design, physical life support operations , and exhibit design and display techniques
Strong communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills
