Duties:
- Ensure the safety of all swimmers and guests in and around the pool area
- Monitor pool activities and enforce safety rules and regulations
- Respond quickly and effectively to any emergencies or incidents that may occur
- Perform regular pool maintenance tasks, including cleaning and sanitizing the pool area
- Conduct routine inspections of pool equipment and report any issues or malfunctions
- Provide excellent customer service to all pool patrons
- Assist with swim lessons and other aquatic programs as needed

Skills:
- Strong swimming skills and knowledge of water safety practices
- Ability to remain calm and composed in emergency situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to enforce rules and regulations in a firm but friendly manner
- Physical stamina to perform duties such as heavy lifting and prolonged standing

Please note that lifeguard certification is required for this position. We will cover certification costs and certify in house.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour

Experience:

  • Lifeguard: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • First Aid Certification (Preferred)
