Security Architect

Aqueduct Technologies is seeking a Security Architect for our customer based in Canton, MA. This is a 6 Month Contract to Hire opportunity. You will play a crucial role in transforming our clients' IT security landscapes by developing and designing comprehensive PAM solutions using the BeyondTrust platform to meet organizational security requirements.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain architectural documentation, including diagrams, processes, and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define PAM strategy, roadmaps, and objectives.
• Implementation & Integration, leading the deployment, configuration, and integration of BeyondTrust PAM solutions across various environments.
• Ensure seamless integration with existing IT infrastructure, applications, and security tools.
• Develop and execute detailed implementation plans, including timelines and resource allocation.
• Oversee the ongoing management and optimization of PAM solutions to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
• Monitor, analyze, and enhance the performance of PAM systems, addressing any issues or bottlenecks.
• Implement best practices for privileged account management, including least privilege, role-based access control, and continuous monitoring.
• Ensure that PAM solutions comply with relevant security standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential risks.
• Develop and enforce policies and procedures related to privileged access management.
• Work closely with IT, security, and compliance teams to align PAM initiatives with organizational goals.
• Provide expert guidance and support to technical teams, ensuring effective use of the BeyondTrust platform.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate staff on PAM best practices and tools.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT security, with at least 3 years focused on PAM.
• Proven experience with the BeyondTrust platform is mandatory.
• In-depth knowledge of BeyondTrust PAM solutions, including installation, configuration, and administration.
• Strong understanding of security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS).
• Proficiency in integrating PAM solutions with various IT systems and applications.
• Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or similar are highly desirable.
• BeyondTrust certifications or training are a significant advantage.
