Content Specialist

Client Location: Bentonville, AR (onsite 5 days)

Starting: ASAP

Salary/Pay Rate: $24.20 to $28.20/hr

Hours: Full-time

Duration: 1 year assignment

Job Description:

Our retail client is seeking a dedicated Content Specialist to join their team. This role focuses on project-driven work involving communications, toolkits, and documents with specified deadlines. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, writing and editing skills, along with the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Key Responsibilities:

• Exhibit strong grammar and copy-editing skills, practicing editing in AP Style (or the ability to quickly learn it), and adapt to brand specific style guidelines.
• Write and/or copy-edit a variety of documents, ensuring any changes are consistently carried over through all documents within a project.
• Develop and manage communications, toolkits, and documents within specified deadlines.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Collaborate with a variety of business partners across multiple areas of the business.
• Be comfortable giving and receiving peer editing and feedback.
• Work quickly and efficiently to meet deadlines with a high emphasis on attention to detail.
• Engage closely with various communications and business partners for feedback and reviews, incorporating and reconciling their input at each stage, and following up as needed.
• Upload documents and build toolkit pages using the AEM system - (willing to train)
• Build email communications in Dreamweaver.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role (junior level).
• Strong grammar and copy-editing skills.
• Familiarity with AP Style (or the ability to quickly learn it).
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Must be willing to work onsite in Bentonville, AR, five days a week.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $24.20 to $28.20/hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
