What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager, R&D position at Aquent?
This is a hybrid role based out of Seattle, WA.
Pay Range: $56.44/hr to $62.71/hr
Our client is looking for a Project Manager, R&D. The Project Manager, R&D will oversee the application of project management methodology during all phases of the project cycle, with responsibilities including project design, scope management, cost control, quality and performance reporting. This will include managing the Hardware and Software Development of higher complex product in during its research and development (R&D) phase.
Project Manager, R&D Job Responsibilities:
- Develops, tracks and manages project budget, project plans, timelines and scope
- Manage project resources including procuring project staff, developing, motivating, coaching and advising
- Partner closely with other members of functional project teams to define business requirements, system architecture and engineering development plans
- Facilitate cross functional teams communication within multiple layers of computing system
- Ensure appropriate systems development and project management processes are being utilized
Project Manager, R&D Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in engineering (preferably in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering)
- Experience using ADO
- Experience with Microsoft tools (Powerpoint, word, excel, project)
- 2-4 years experience as a project manager or R&D engineering manager
- Proven project management experience
- People management and team building skills
- Demonstrated ability to be flexible/ adaptable in exercising judgment in a changing environment and to manage competing priorities
- Proven ability to learn business processes quickly and to work well with business partners at different levels within the organization
- Strong ability to assess risk and apply management principles to technology applications/products and business functions
- Experience delivering technology and business application solutions in a large-scale, multi-platform systems environment
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $56.44/hr to $62.71/hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
